B. Jensen. Detective Jensen arrested Encomium about ten days ago as a slacker-suspect. Encomium, a stalwart, healthy Hellene, Hel-lene, arrived at the mistaken conclusion conclu-sion that it was optional with him whether he fought or remained at home while Americans went to the baltlefront in his stead. Because he was a foreigner, the authorities exercised exer-cised unusual patience and sought to give additional opportunities to change his mind. He remained unconvinced and insisted that he would not leavo the United States to fight hut would fight if the Teutons came hero. His ideas failed to appeal. He was ordered to Fort Douglas.
