He is the son of a poor carpenter and obtained his education edu-cation undor most adverse circum- stances. It was through the efforts of Krust- J aloff-Nosar that the workmen's coun- j cil was created. In November, 1906, he nnd fourteen other leaders of the council were tried on a charge of trea- I son and sentenced to exile in Siberia. He exercises an immense power over I the Russian masses. oo |
