Had tho president presi-dent and his cabinet failed to usurp authority to the extent of anticipating legislation, the nation would still be marking time. Good Americans everywhere have been indignant over the indifference as to our national peril shown by the obstructionists in Congress, and they applaud the declaration of the Boston Post that up to now this appears to be a 'slacker congress,' " There are too many men in congress con-gress whose Americanism is open to question. |
