Show oo LIMBS MANGLED UNDER STREET CAR Salt Lake, Aug. 29. Running for an eastbound Highland Park street car shortly after midnight, this morning, morn-ing, William Edmonds, 30 years of age, an emplayee of tho National Liquor company, 41 East Second South street, fell beneath the wheels of the car and suffered injuries which, it is said, will necessitate the amputation am-putation of his left leg below the knee. A part of his right foot was also so severaly crushed that surgical surgi-cal attention will be necessary. The accident occured on Second South between Main and State '' Faint from the loss of blood,. Ed-monds Ed-monds was taken to the emergency hospital. He was attended by Dd. J. C. Landenberger, physician for the street car company. At the time of the accident Ed 2J. hurrying to his home at 1 1 BLverlr avenue. His foot is said to have caught in a depression in 'H the paving, and he fell headlong In tront of tho approaching car.
