Larson, and ' j the well known local contralto and iv ; tenor, Miss Mildred Ware and Ed- j ward Greenwell. j The band pla3red twelve well select- I t ed numbers, each rendition receiving ' i enthusiastic aplause. Miss Ware sang , i . "The Holy City" (Adams), and Mr. I v Greenwell sang "Pretty Baby" (Van ,'. iii'K Alstyne), featured last week at (he j ; Orpheum theatre in Salt Lake City by I Irene Bordoni. The vocal numbers s' kj.; were also greatly appreciated. There -was a general spirit of re- t tfij joicing noticeable among the people I raj atthe park, over the fact that it is ! g: now the property of the city and l Egi many conjectures were made as to , the manner in which the property j B-,1 .will be improved next spring to meet ; K: the needs of the community. |
