The rehearsal re-hearsal was one of the most successful success-ful held by the company of notables who comprise Ogden's ,best literary and dramatic talent. Fred G. Taylor and Moroni Olsen are the originators of the Idea of a Continental Congress Con-gress as a feature of the Harvest Festival and Fashion Show entertainment entertain-ment for this year. The decorations for the present festival fes-tival are more extensive and elaborate than any placed on the streets and business houses of the city in the past. Preparations for the barbecue have been completed. It is predicted that this feast will go on record as being the biggest demonstration in behalf of home-prepared food known to the history of the intermountaln west. The official program announced by James P. Casey, secretary of the Og-den Og-den Publicity Bureau, carries .provision .provis-ion for muslo between and while all events and features are being worked out for tho entertainment of the crowds which will arrive in the city on all incoming trains during the three days of the carnival. Music for the "Jitney Dances" to be held on Hudson avenue, which will be roped offfor the occasion, will be furnished by the Mountain Echo band of girls from Southern Utah. There will be music for the parades, for the dancing, danc-ing, the races, the barbecue, the baby show and other features and orchestral orches-tral music for "The Continental Con gress." The program will be as follows: Thursday, September 7. 8 a. m. Aerial bomb salute. 7:30 p. m.
