Many people who visited Sunset 'Heights yesterday, were amazed at the wonderful view of the great gorge of Weber Canyon, to the east, and also remarked that they had no idea of the panoramic view of the beautiful beauti-ful green carpeted fields, dotted with orchards, to tho west, with the Great Salt Lake in the back ground, and again, to view this great panoramic viow, streaked by electric and steam railroads, appearing In plain view of the eye every tfew minutes, and to watch the numberless motorists speeding along the great concrete highway that borders this property on tthe west. Many, people express the idea, "Why not have an acre home at Sunset with all Its advantages, instead in-stead of paying rent In tho city, while you still have all the modern conveniences conven-iences of tho city: electric lights, telephone, tel-ephone, etc.? Be Independent nnd make your own little place pay for Itself, and save the heavy taxes of a large city." Dr. A. G. Ralston was kept on the jump. So many people wanted to know all the particulars pertaining to the project, that the doctor was kept busy and overlooked his luncheon, and about 5 o'clock he just began to realize that he had missed a meal, which Is strictly against his religion. The doctor says, "I like this beautiful beauti-ful vista and would like to entertain all tho folks, but I cannot live on viow, and besides, I cannot wait for the many beautiful things that will be grown here next spring." With that tho doctor disappeared. The Davis & Weber Land company expects another big throng of people at Sunset Heights today, knowing that so many people are desirous of receiving all Information possible pertaining per-taining to the project, and realizing that today is Labor Day, a holiday when everyone has an opportunity to spend their day of leisure to the best advantage. |
