Show Bill TEAM IS ON TIE flOU TO SITE ' CHAMPIONSHIP Superb team work, coupled with the expert bansket throwing of Jensen, the crack right guard from the foul lino, brought the Boxeldor high school basbetball team out victorious last night in Its gamo against the Ogden high school five. The score was 34 to 17 and the game was played on the Ogden high school floor. The visitors outmatched the Ogden players, man for man in height and weight, 'but this condition was only partly responsible for the victory, aB the Boxelder county boys played more genuine basketball than has been seen on an Ogden floor in several years. Individually the members of the northern team are unusually clean cut and well developed high school athletes and Coach Roskelly has worked them into a machine that should plow its way to the state championship. Their work last night won the respect of the big assemblage assem-blage or rooters and, like good sports, they gave three cheers and a tiger for the defeated O. H. S. five, when the contest was concluded. "The "Orange and Black" can be credited with putting up a good fight against odds. They were a bit unfortunate un-fortunate in the way of fouls, their over-zealousness to win, giving the visitors opportunity to gain 19 points, 16 of which were successfully taken by Jensen. There were no particular stars in the contest, the B. E. H. S. putting their efforts into team work and tho locals, of necessity, keeping mainly on the defensive Tommy Fltzpatrlck of the Salt Lake Westside high school refereed the contest, being quick to note fouls and fair in his decisions. The contest was witnessed by more than eight hundred students from the competing schools and a number of other fans from both cities. Some "rough stuff" was started between halves by non-members of the two student bodies, but the disturbance was quicklly quelled by Principal J. E. Beeson and member of tho O. H. S. and B. E. H.
