Show PICTURES WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT M. E, CHURCH The novel plan adopted by Rev. G. F. Rassweiler of the Methodist church for his Sunday evening services, ser-vices, which consists of illustrating his sermons with reproductions of famous paintings, giving a souvenir to each one attending, proved so popular last Sunday that the supply of pictures pic-tures waB exhaustod before all the audience had arrived. This Sunday night the theme of the Christian Racer Rac-er will be illustrated by the famous painting of Checa, "Race of Roman Chariots." This picture Is so full of life and stirring action, and is so artistically conceived that It has become be-come very popular. The reproduction reproduc-tion is by the Peery Picture Company, done on immitation velum 5 1-2' x 8 inches and one that makes a beautiful beauti-ful momento. The pictures will be given out to those arriving firBt, until exhausted, though it is hoped that at least one can be provided for each family, if not more. The music will consist of pipe organ selections, anthem, solo, by Mrs. Rosamond Rosa-mond Laird and whistling solo by Miss Addie Rowse. |
