Show PETROLEUM STOCK CASE POSTPONED. Thermopolls, Wyo.. March 2. A fourth postponement of the triaAbf tho case of N. F. Clark of Pittsburg. Pa., against the Mexico-Wyoming Petroleum Pe-troleum companj' of Wyoming, involving involv-ing 700,000 shares of the stock of tho defendant corporation, has been ordered order-ed by the distriot court of Hot Springs county and the trial will not be held until the 1917 term of this court, if then. , Clark Is attempting to compel the Mexico-Wyoming company, which some time ago merged with the Great Dome Oil company, to deliver U him 700,000 shares of its stock, which he claims to have contracted to buy for 3100,000 His contract was made with Thomas E. Foley, who ho says was an accredited agent of the company and to whom he paid 8000 in cash, agreeing agree-ing to pay $92,000 more on tho delivery deliv-ery of the 700,000 shares. Tho com- 1 pany, however, declined to be bound J by tho Foley contract and refused to 1 deliver the stock, whereupon Clark 1 brought suit. J |
