Another point scheduled H for their investigation was as to H t nether or not the present company H -would lose its franchise rights if use H of its telephones throughout the coun- H ty were discontinued by everyone for H a period of time. In the event that H it is found that such wholesale dis- H carding of telephones by subscribers H would make the company subject to H aunufnient of Its franchise, it is un- H dostood that a subscribers' strike H will be called. m - To Investigate Cost. H George C. Smith and James E. Moss were named as a committee to H investigate the cost of installing an H independent exchange for the county, M with a trunk service to the city.
