The condition of paralysis which he suffered through the fracture between Uie frontal and temple bones, was partially removed by Dr. W. E. Whalen when called from his home Wednesday night to the scene of the accident, who performed an operation opera-tion of tropannlng, assisted by Dr. R. S. Joyce. In the operation, a piece of bone was removed from the skull and the injured man has been enabled at times to recognize friends at the bedside. bed-side. Mr3.
