Show FRIGHTENS A TITTLE GIRL AND IS PLACED UNDER ARREST. Several unusually aggravated cases of drunkenness and mendicancy were brought to the attention of Municipal Judge Geo. S. Barker this morning and Jail sentences were meted out to the offenders. John Doe Steele, a belligerent bel-ligerent "moocher" arrested late Wed-nesday Wed-nesday night by Officers R. D. Pin-cock Pin-cock and T. J. Paine, was awarded 10 days. Ed Gallicher, taken Into custody cus-tody by Patrolman John Hutchins for drunkenness .and disturbing the peace was given a 15 day sentence, and Davy Jones, who had repeatedly been before the court for drunkenness, Was also awarded 15 days. Ten days was the sentence given William Burns, who frightened a little girl yesterday, while under the influence in-fluence of liquor. He was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Oren Hadlock. Dan Dunn, arrested by Patrolman Richardson, was also drunk and unruly un-ruly according to the testimony and his sentence was a duplicate of that given Burns. Mark Forman, a plain drunk, was given a aupended sentence. |
