Show oo GRAZERS PERFECT NEW ORGANIZATION Salt Lake. Jan. 12 The organization organiza-tion of the Sheep Grazers' association was effected yesterday at the forenoon fore-noon meeting of the Uinta Forest Grazers. The winning of official recognition from the forestry department depart-ment is the purpose of the new organization or-ganization When 51 per cent of the grazers have signed the articles of agreement, the organization will be recognized by the forestry department as representative of the grazers In the Uinta forest. At such time as this is a fact, the new organization will supersede the parent Institution the LMnta Forest Grazers. The officers of the parent organization organi-zation were continued in office by unanimous vote yesterday. Thomas Austin being president, Sylvester Broadbent vice president and James A. Hooper secretary and treasurer. The officers of the new association are: E. D, Clyde of Heber City, president; pres-ident; James Murdock of Heber City, vice president; James A. Hooper of Salt Lake, secretary and treasurer, James Brown of Pleasant Grove, Thomas Singleton and Abner Chip-man Chip-man of American Fork, members of an advisory board of five, the other two members being the president and vice president A rough draft of the articles of agreement approved by the forestry service was made yesterday. yes-terday. They m ill be perfected and copies supplied to the members of the advisory board, to the. end that the signing up of the grazers of the Uinta forest may be accomplished. Supervisor W C Jenson of the Uinta forest came from Provo to attend at-tend the organization meeting yesterday yester-day He gave a short talk on the adrantagea that must accrue to the grazers if organized in a manner to win the recognition of the Forestry department de-partment and outlined the necessary procedure for such organization The morning nesaion of the grazers was devoted to routine business. The afternoon session, at which the work of reorganization was accomplished, was delayed until late in order to give the members opportunity to attend the afternoon meeting of the Utah State Wool Growers association at the Hotel Utah |
