Show 00 OGDEN HIGH SCHOOL ID BOX ELDER 10 MEET Tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock, the 1915 season of the northern division Of the State High School Basketball league will be opened with a gujue be-tween be-tween the Ogden high school and the Box Elder high school teams. The I game will be played in the high school auditorium. This event has been looked forward to with a great deal of interest by local basketball fans and it is expected expect-ed that the students of the Weber academy. Ogden high school and older patrons of the game wlil fill nearly all of the available spaco in the auditorium, leaving room only for the Brigham City rooters. It is expected ex-pected that a large crowd of the latter lat-ter will accompany their team to Ogden, Og-den, as it won the championship of the northern division last year and its boosters expect it to duplicate the trick this year. The Orange and Black team, however, how-ever, though handicapped by participation partici-pation in other athletic games to the extent or not having length of time, equal to that of the other teams for practice, has been practicing steadily of late and expects to give a good account ac-count of itself The personnel oT the team is as follows: Chambers, Ruby, De Young, Moyes, Beck and L. FaJch. Yesterday atternoon an enthusiastic rally was held at the high school and a fine exhibition of school spirit was worked up. Speeches were made, by Messrs. Cummings, Johnson and Rom-ney, Rom-ney, representing the faculty and male students and by Alean Couch and Margaret Mar-garet Hendershot, representing the co-eds. |
