oo LAUNDRY DAMAGED BY FlfiE THIS MORNING A fire occurred about 9:30 o'clock this morning in the Sunrise laundry, a .Japanese institution at 18S1 Washington Wash-ington avenue. The contents ot the drying room, consisting of a number suits of clothing, cloaks, etc., were virtually destroed, and a wooden par-1 titlon and a part of the roof of the building were burned The damage to the building was estimated at about 10, but the value of the clothing could not be ascertained. The blaze was extinguished by the city fire department and. according to the report made to Chief Canfield. it was causer by the overheating of a charcoal stove that was used for heating heat-ing flat-irons. oo
