Show uvi HOOPER ENJOYS REUNION MY Judge Volnoy C. Gunnell, H. C. Jacobs and about a dozonk other local men went to Hooper today to attend the big reunion of the veterans of the Black-hawk Indian war. A special train from Provo and Salt Lake wont to HooDor todav to the reunion. The delegations wero met at the station by a large number of Hooper citizens, who escorted them to the ward square, where the encampment was held A baud concert and several addresses ad-dresses were listened to during the forenoon and at noon tho old soldiers partook of a banquet which was provided pro-vided by the women of Hooper. The afternoon was occupied with a program pro-gram of sports, chief among which was a sham battle between the Indians In-dians and the old soldiers. Supper will be served at 6 o'clock. ' |
