Show GOVERNOR HADLEY DECLINES TO BOLT Jefferson City, Mo., June 23. Governor Gov-ernor Hadley, on hla return from the Chicago convention, declared his determination not to join Roosevelt's third party movement. "I believe I can render more useful use-ful public service as a member of tho Ropubllcan party than b' joining in the formation of a third party," he said. "While I have in no way changed chang-ed my mind as to the correctness of that for which I contended, I undertake under-take to say that no political party ever did or ever will exist In which at times men will not use authority unfairly and to accomplish selfish and Improper ends. "In my opinion, the best way successfully suc-cessfully to fight such men and methods, meth-ods, and also the best way In -which to fight for correct principles of government, gov-ernment, Is within the party rather than by leaving it. "Some planks were omitted from the platform which I should like to havo 6eon adopted, but there will be found, I believe, in the platform noth- . ing that Is objectlonablo to any Republican, Re-publican, and on tho whole it is the most progressive platform we have ever prosented to the American people. peo-ple.
