He admitted that he was drunk Monday, Mon-day, but asked the mercy of the court because he wanted to complete hlB journey to Phoenix. The court Imposed a suspended sentence. Ray Falker paid a $5 fine In police court today for riding a bicycle on the sidewalk Monday. Samuel Stone, a man who drank so much liquor Monday that he couldn't answer a subpoena to appear in police court, was brought in today. He pleaded guilty to having been drunk, but owing to the fact that he is an old man the court was not disposed to be harsh with him. A suspended sontence was Imposed upon Stone's own agreement agree-ment that he would serve six months if arrested for being drunk any time within the next six months. |
