DIrenforth, of this city, and no attempt at-tempt now will be mndo to probate the remarkable will of the ono tlmo acting) commissioner of patents In this will General DIrenforth directed that his grandson, 11 years old, should at all times avoid "the opjKsito 6ex," including his own grandmother; that ho should complete a course at Harvard, Har-vard, graduate at West Point and gain a degree at Oxford, all boforo attaining attain-ing his majority. Under the torms of tho settlement filed In court today, tho grandson received $9,000 which is to be held In trust and used for his education edu-cation along such lines as his guardians guar-dians shall dlreqt. |
