Show FINDS HORSE HFTERJ YEARS While searching in this city for a horse which hud strayed away a few days ago, Syrel Call, n resident of Roy, located another or his horses which had boen-lost in a similar manner man-ner more than two years ago. The, animal was In possession of a man named Stevens, a Thirty-third and Adams resident, and it was only through the leniency of Mr. Call that he escaped prosecution. It was learned by tho deputies of the sheriff's office that Roy Stalling, a 17-year-old boy, Tiad found Mr. Call's borate wandering In tho street and took fhc animal up but failed to advertise ad-vertise Hie lact as required by law. Later he traded the horse to Stevens, who practlcaiiv admitted that ho knew tho manner iu which It came Into Stalllng's possession. The horse for which Mr. Call was 'searching yesterday belonged to a frlond. While Inquiring for the animal ani-mal he told a resident of tho southwestern south-western section of the city that ho had lost a horse about two years ago and the party then related tho incident inci-dent by which Stalling came Into possession pos-session of an animal. Mr. Call decided decid-ed to Investigate and found that tho horso montloncd was his own. Stalllng's case has been referred to Juvenile Judge V. C. Gunncll. |
