At a meeting in.IIuntHvlllo last evening, even-ing, tho Huntsvillo Mountain Irrigation Irriga-tion company authorized Its president, by a vole of 350 to -12, to buy ?3500 worth of water In tho South Fork Reservoir company. The only opposition opposi-tion came from one man who said ho had more water than lie could use and did not want to be assessed to buy water for those who were short of water. Even that opposition melted away when it was explained that those who received the additional water would pay the full price of the water rights Thirty-five stockholder's were pres- i ent, representing two-thirds of all the itock of tho company. ' The Felt, Peterson and Slater Water Wa-ter and Canal, also of Huntsvllle, two days ago, at a stockholders' meeting, confirmed tho subscription of Its president, presi-dent, who subscribed for $1,400 worth of stock at the mass meeting held at Ogden borne tlmo ago. At the meeting last night, after tho stockholders voted to buy $3,500 worth of water rights in the Reservoir company, com-pany, all but seventeen shares wore contracted for by those present beforo t,he meeting adjourned.
