The loss to tho company of the "closing of this smelter Is slight, as much of the ore which was treated at this plant Is, now being sent to other smelters. smel-ters. The present total running time and per cent of total capacity of the Mexican Mex-ican plants is high, notwithstanding the Chihuahua shutdown While tho company has had labor troubles at tholr other smelters, they were of short durntlon, and no difficulty is "being experienced now, the men being only too glad to recolvc their regular wages.
