Show Kelly D. Smith claims Wendy Williams in double-ring Wedding Ceremony 55- j I I Kelly D. Smith claimed Wendy Williams as his bride in a double ring ceremony June 12. Bishop Harold Hiskey officiated. The Enfhanted Gardens was the setting for the wedding and the reception which followed. Parents of the young Cedar City couple are Mr. and Mrs, Warren Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Smith. , The bride's gown was of white polyester crepe featured an empire waistline, and long sleeves with a Daisy Lace Chain trim. The same Daisy trim edged the veil which culminated in a long train. Miss Louise Williams, sister of the bride was maid of honor. Other attendants were Susie Griebel, Beith Griebel, Sherry Amador, and Mrs. Suzanne Slack. The Bicentennial themem was carried out in the long blue dotted swiss dresses the bridesmaids wore. The dresses featured long sleeves with white lace around the collar. The attendants at-tendants carried bouquest made up of a blue daisy, red carnation and white dried flowers. Mark Smith was best man and the ushering was done by Shyrel Mosdell, Evan Williams, Mark Imlay, Scott Robb, and David Howell. The mothers of the bridal pair wore long polka dot navy blue dresses with red, white and blue flowers. Special guest of honor were grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alex Williams, Mrs. Laverne Sims and Mrs. Jeven Watson. The wedding cake was s decorated by Loraine Bradshaw in the Bicentennial theme by using a white cake decroated MRS. KELLY D.SMITH with flags, red flowers and tiny figurines of Betsy Ross and Uncle Sam. Out of town guest were Mr. and Mrs. Virgal Bulloch, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Johanson, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johanson, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hohanson, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen York of Salt Lake City. After honeymooning in Las Vegas, the newlyweds are making their home in Cedar City where she is employed at Her-mies Her-mies and he works at Tinks Auto Service. Both are Cedar High "(graduates. Miss Wendy -'.Williams was guest of honor at a bridal shower held prior to her June weddine. Hostess for the event was Mrs. Karen Leigh, 1121 No. Main Street. About 18 people attended the Bicentennial-themed event and enjoyed playing games-and the refereshements which consisted of red, white and blue cake and red slush punch. |
