Show FmHA District Office Opens v Under current Federal restructuring, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, has opened a new Farmers Home Administration ( FmHA) District Office at 10 North main Street, Cedar City, Utah. Under the restructuring, the Cedar City District Office encompasses the Beaver, Cedar City, Panguitch, and St. George County Offices, which provide services to Beaver, Iron , Washington, Kane, ( and Garfiield Counties. Kendell W. Brinkerhoff, Panguitch, Utah has been appointed District Director, and Tammy Nay, Cedar City, Utah, has been appointed ap-pointed District Loan Assistant, for the new office. District Director Brinkerhoff has the responsibility for processing all FmHA Community Facility and Rural Rental Housing loans within the new District, as well as supervise the four County Offices under his jurisdiction. jurisdic-tion. With the opening of this new office, FmHA will be able to provide better and more efficient service to southwestern counties in Utah. Farmers Home Administration Ad-ministration makes loans to rural and small town communities, unable to secure satisfactory credit elsewhere, to help them finance needed facilities. It also makes agricultural, rural housing, and business and industry loans. In some cases ,FmHA guarantees repayment of loans made by private lenders.
