Show Emily G. Bruhn dies in St. George active member of the LDS Church and the charter president of the Panguitch Literary Club, also a charter member of the Panguitch American Legion Auxiliary. She taught school in Parowan and in West Weber. She also taught in Ogden at a school for the deaf and blind and did substitute teaching in Las Vegas, Nev. She operated the Bryce Canyon Cafe in Panguitch, where she was known and loved as PAROWAN - Emily Eleanor Guymon Bruhn age 89, died Oclober 28 in the St. George rest home of natural causes, ' , Born' June 6, 1888 in Parowan, to Marcus Layfette and Zilpha Lowder Guymon. j She married P. Fred Bruhn May 15, 1915 in Parowari. This marriage was later solomnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a graduate of the BAC and the U of U. She was an many LDS auxiliaries. She is survived by two sons, Vee Bruhn, Panguitch; Bill Bruhn, Bountiful and one daughter Beth B. Hurst, St. George. She was preceded in death by one son Arthur Bruhn. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and two brothers, Jess and Brose Guymon, both of Parowan. Funeral services were held Monday October 31 in the Panguitch South LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Panguitch City Cemetery. "Ma" Bruhn.
