Show Walters dies in California Funeral services . were held Friday, Oct. 28 at the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary Mor-tuary for Norma Harris Swift Walters. Mrs. Walters died Saturday, Oct. 22 at Redding, Calif. Mrs. Walters was born Feb. 27, 1912 to Ebenezer and Annie Hallman Harris. She married Benjamin Swift Nov. 6, 1937. He died Oct. 4, 1950. She later married Dee Walters. Services were conducted by Bishop Charles Esplin. Family prayer was offered by Rex Harris. Invocation was by Doug Manning and the benediction by Keith Cripps. A life history was given by Rachel Thorley, Musical selections included a guitar solo, "Whispering Hope," by Gene Roundy and two vocal solos, "Hold Thou My Hand, and "Dear Lord," by Christine Winterrose accompanied ac-companied by Jill Win-' Win-' terrose. Dedication of the grave at the Cedar City cemetery was by Keith Dover. Survivors include her husband; five sisters: Mrs. Henry (Vera) Nelson, Mrs. Mort (Rachel) Thorley; Mrs. Dell (Coral) Carpenter, all of Cedar City; Mrs. Wilford (Inez) Dover, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. Peter (Irma) Fife, Washington, Utah; a brother, Rex Harris, Sun City, Ariz. |
