Show Brad Fife named 'Ram of the Week' I i ' .?i h "tot-. -v ; f 'If 'V H"l fo) jrg- If i 7 ft PAROWAN - Brad Fife son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fife of Pa rowan was chosen "Ram of the Week by the PHS coaching staff for his outstanding play in the football game against Kanab. Brad is a 6 foot 4 senior and has had a good season this year in football. Brad is also a PHS basketball player and a valuable asset to the team. In last Friday's football action coach Dyer indicated that a number of boys gave outstanding performances in the hard fought game against North Sevier. Commended for their play in the game were Mike Evans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norm Evans, Brad Fife, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fife, Gordon Gurr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Gurr, Brent Rowley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Rowley and Mike Robinson son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Robinson. Mike caught a touchdown pass thrown by Brent and ran 80 yards for the TD. Dyer also complimented the rest of the team for a "really good game" against a very strong North Sevier team. He states that he feels he has some players coming up that show great promise for next year's squad and have played excellent ball this year. Look for Roger Bentley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Bentley as fullback, David Evans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norm Evans as tailback. Richard Burton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Burton and Dan Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Robinson as receivers. Pat Benson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Benson Jr. as tight end and Norman Bettridge, son of Charlotte Bettridge, as tackle. The Rams have played 1IONOKK1) AT 1M1S. Brad Fife was selected as the Parowan High School Ham of the Week for his outstanding play in battle against the Kanab Cowboys. some tine football this year under the very able direction of coach Jerry Dyer and assistant coach Dubeck. They have had some very tough teams to play and have ( shown steady improvement im-provement and will be strong contenders next season in Region 8. |
