Show Parowan Hi music students at solo, ensemble meet Going to Milford today, Thursday, March 23 will be a large number of students from the music department of the Parowan High School to attend at-tend the annual Region Eight solo and ensemble festival. The Milford High will be the host school, reports the school publicity department. Those taking part in the day's events, according to Mr. John Talcott, music instructor instruc-tor will be a total of 35 students, stu-dents, participating in the following fol-lowing departments. Piano: Laurene Dalley, Mar-lene Mar-lene Dalton, Flora Halterman, Laurie Benson and Lisa Benson; Ben-son; Clarinet: Sharon Gurr; French Horn, Eric Michaeli; Oboe, Wendy Stolk; Vocal, Sue Gebert, Randall Bentley,. 1 The ensembles will be: Brass sextette, Karl Bentley, Lisa Robison, Randall Bentley, Eric Michaeli, Jim Prince and Rex Burton. In the Clarinet Choir: Shirley Pollock, Margaret Mar-garet Pollock, Sharon Gurr, Wendy Robinson, Diane Bit-silly Bit-silly and Laurie Benson. Flute duet, Terry Jensen and Sher-lynn Sher-lynn White. Clarinet duet, Shirley and Margaret Pollock. Mixed vocal ensembles: Los-lie Los-lie Robison, Terry Jensen, Sue Gebert, Sharon Gurr, Anna Walunas, Cindy Day, Renon Hermansen, Rick Dotson, Gar-ry Gar-ry Benson, Joe Williamson, Randall Bentley, Larry Kellogg., Kel-logg., Girls triple trio: Sharon Gurr, Terry Jensen, Wendy Stolk, Lisa Robison, Laurene Dalley, Flora Halterman, Linda Lin-da Hyatt, Wendy Robinson and Vicki Chamberlain, Mrs. Mary Lyman is the accompanist ac-companist for the participants. |
