Dunn of the First Council of the Seventy, Church of Jesus Christ Christ of Latter-Day Saints will be honored by the students at Southern Utah State College on Tuesday, March 28. He is visiting the campus at the invitation in-vitation of the LDS Student Association in connection with the Annual "A Day With The Eretheren." Each spring a general authority auth-ority of the Church is invited to come to the campus to give a message of inspiration and mingle with the students. Last spring President Joseph Fielding Field-ing Smith was honored and spoke to the studentbody and community. Elder Dunn will be speaking speak-ing as the first Forum speaker of the Spring Quarter at the Institute 12 noon. At 1 p.m. Elder Dunn will conduct a question and answer session. Questions may be asked from the floor or they may be written writ-ten in advance and given to one of the Institute faculty. The people ol the community dcr Dunn in the afternoon for a Luncheon at the Institute At 4 p. m. Elder Dunn wi speak to returned serviceme and returned missionaries t the Institute. Elder Dunn has a special' significance for the student at Southern Utah State Col lege. He and Elder Richard I Evans organized the SUS' Stake in 1966. He was one o the founders of the Studen f Association concept. The as sociation at SUSC was one of fthe five pilot groups. Withir j five years cf the inception o the pilot program the Studen' Association has received ful' sanction from the First Presi dency and has become the official of-ficial correlating agency of the Church for college age students throughout the world. The Priesthood Leader for the SUSC Campus region, President Pre-sident Gail B. Duncan will conduct the noon session. Richard Tree, the newly called cal-led President of the Student Association for 1372-73 will conduct the afternoon te&siotfc |
