Show Noah, Rasmusson exchange vows Rites solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on May 27 united Miss Kathleen Rasmus-son Rasmus-son and David Martin Noah in matrimony. Pres. Christ-ensen Christ-ensen officiated at the double dou-ble ring ceremony. Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Norman Heaton, Cedar, and Mr. Lonnie B. Noah, Henderson, Nevada and Mrs. Juanita R. Noah ot Glendale, Arizona. Following the wedding ceremony cere-mony a dinner was served to 66 friends and relatives at the Wales Ward Cultural Hall by the bride's parents. The bride's going away outfit out-fit was a baby blue knit pant-suit pant-suit with navy acessories. On June 3 the newlyweds were feted at a garden open house at the Heaton residence in Cedar. . i ,The bride was radiant in a floor-length gown of nylon polyester. The empire waistline waist-line accented with a cumber-' bun added to the "old-ifashion-ed" look which was further carried out with danlty ruffles ruf-fles at the high neckline, the wrists and In tiers down the skirt. A delicate lace trim set off the ruffles. Matching lace trimmed the crown which held the floor-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white glamelias accented with tiny blue flowers and white stream-ers. stream-ers. iMrs. Heaton wore a floor length blue knit dress with silver sequined trim. Standing In the receiving line with the bride and bridegroom bride-groom were the . bride's parents par-ents and Mr. Noah. . Presiding at the guest book was a sister of the bride, Miss Vickie Heaton. Other sister, JoAnn and Sharon, with Colleen Col-leen Irons, and JaNene and Lori Gardner served the refreshments. re-freshments. The bride's color scheme ,was further carried out by the blue flowered bib aprons the girls wore. At the punch bowls were aunts of the bride, Mrs. Lulu Irons and Betty Jensen. Helping in the kitchen were Mildred Cardon, Ann Jones, Lois Woodbury, Donna Green, Maureen Lunt, Reah Stewart and Teri Irons. The ta!bles were decorated with blue flowered parasols in baskets of flowers. The bride made them to match the serving aprons. Furnishing music for the open house was Mrs. Marilyn Hawly and Mignon Hatch on the organ. In the gift room were friends of the bride, Marilyn and Jane Hafen. Gift bearers were Tom Heaton and Jed Jensen. Out of town guests at the wedding and Open House Included: Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Thomas, Wales; Mrs. Freda Rasmusson, Ephraim; Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Thomas and family, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Jensen and family, Midvale; Mr. and Mrs. Juel Rasmusson and family, Manti; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Nielsen and family, Manti. Also coming from out of town for the festivities were: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nielsen and family, Moroni; Mrs. Leona Irons, Moroni; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Martin, American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heaton, and family, Kanab; Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Anderson, Salt Lake City; Mr. Arthur Lam, Mr. Alma Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Vern West, Mrs. Marie Thomas, and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lamlb, Wales; Mr. and Mrs. Hilmer Peterson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Barley, Ephraim; Mr. Irwin Peters and family, Las Vegas; and Mr. and Mrs. Truman Kluke and Delbbie, Santa Clara. Prior to the wedding, the bride was feted at a street shower given by Mrs. Jo Ann Nugent, Iris Hafen and Pauline Paul-ine Cox. DAVID MARTIN NOAH A Trousseau Tea was given by the bride's mother for 200 friends and relatives who en-Joyed en-Joyed an afternoon visiting. , The bride received her two-year two-year business degree at the recent SUSC graduation rites and is presently employed at the Southwest Educational De-velopment De-velopment Center. The bridegroom graduated from SUSC in the same rites with a BS degree in Physical Education. He Is employed at Utah International for the summer. |
