Adventure Expeditions new address is Box 277, Spring-dale, Spring-dale, Utah. A new consession service for Zion National Park will begin operation on June 17, 1972. Superintendent Robert I. Kerr announced today that Adventure Ad-venture Expeditions has been awarded a consession permit to conduct guided trips through the Zion Narrows. The first of these trips will be conducted con-ducted on June 17, and successively suc-cessively on each week end through September. For many years visitors to Zion National Park have had an interest in the Zion Narrows Nar-rows and many groups and individuals in-dividuals have hiked through this Impressive canyon. The decision to issue a consession permit for this guided trip was spurred .by the need to provide a greater opportunity to the general public to see guides with advanced first aid training and emergency equip-ment. equip-ment. These guides will be able to furnish an acurate account ac-count of the history, geology geography, flora and fauna of the Narrows area and will insure in-sure that hikers follow conservation con-servation practices in the protection pro-tection of the canyon and that all Park Service regulations are followed.
