Show Services to honor LaPrele C. Smith Colo. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and the following follow-ing brothers and sisters: Mrs. W. A. (Edrie) Marshall, Orem; Mrs. J. O. (Ruth) Smith, Capi-tola, Capi-tola, Calif.; Marian A. Corry Eureka, Calif.; and Mrs. C. M. (Beverly) Elliott, Mercer Island, Wash. ' Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17 at 11 a.m. in the Cedar City Eleventh Ward Chapel for Cedar City native LaPrele Corry Smith, 78, who died of natural causes I'.i a Provo hosipital Tuesday,) June 13. Friends may call at the Southern Utah Mortuary Friday Fri-day evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a-m. until un-til time Of services. Burial will be in the Cedar City cemetery. " Mrs. Smith, a Cedar, City native, was active in the LDS Church having served with the Relief Society, and the MIA. She was a member of the drama clutb and for many years was employed at Son-, oma's in Cedar City. She was born here Sept. 17 1903, a daughter of Moroni and Maude Bracken Corry. She married Thomas Gordon Smitth, Sept. 8, 1927 in Paro-wan Paro-wan and the marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Survivors .include her husband, hus-band, Cedar City; a daughter, Mrs. Lynn (Maridon) Nielsen, Stevenson, Wash., and a son, Gordon Collin Smith, Arvada |
