Show SHAKESPEAREAN FESTIVAL Rehearsal now underway The 60 member Utah Shakes-1 pearean Festival Company has already begun a hectic program of rehearsals, costume cos-tume and prop construction, technical and promotional work to be ready for opening Monday morning. Auditions for the three plays ("Comedy of Errors," "King Lear," and "The Winter's Tale") were held Tuesday and rehearsals began Wednesday. Mr. Adams is very optimistic optimis-tic about the Festival's 11th season. In keeping with the Festival's Festi-val's fast pace ticket sales are up once again the largest pre-season sale to date since the Festival founding in 1962, according to Norm Robinson, promotional director. "As of yet none of the dates are sold out but some weekends, week-ends, especially the first three days of the season, are selling sell-ing very rapidly," he said. |
