Show i Tree commission urges more planting in Cedar An appeal from the Cedar City Shade Tree Commission for more trees to be planted on the streets of Cedar City was made again this week. A few years ago, the commission com-mission met with people on each street (a canvas was made and each family was Invited to the meeting) for the purpose of selecting a shade tree for their streets. Following is a list of the threes selected and the streets that chose them: , , . GREEN ASH TREES 200 East: 200 N. 400 N. ' 600 W.: Harding Ave. 400 N. 700 W: 200 S. - 600 S. 1050 W.: Center to 200 N. HONEY LOCUST 100 W.: 200 S. - 400 S. 300 W.: 400 S. - 600 S. . 500 W: 200 S. - 400 S. 200 W.: Center to 200 N. 800 W. : 200 S. - 600 S. LITTLE LEAF LINDEN 580 W.: 500 S. - 660 S. NORWAY MAPLE 100 W.: Center to 200 S. 100 W.: Center to 400 N. 150 W.: 400 S. to 535 S. 900 W.: 200 S. to 400 S. BLACK OR BLUE ASH 640 W.: 500 to 600 S. 400 E.: Center to 200 E. If any of you living on these streets and need to fill in where trees have died or if you have not planted but should plant, please bring bring your order and money to the Shade Tree Committee. Prices on the trees, through the city committee are: Green ash, 8 to 10 ft., $4.40; Blue or Black Ash, 8 to 10 ft., $4.35; Shade Master, 8 to 10 ft., A locust in place of honey locust, $8.25; Norway maple, 8 to 10 ft, $4.10; Little leaf linden, 9 to 10 ft., $6.75.
