Show Brian Head scouts hold "swimmeree" The Boy Scouts cl the Brian Head District Held a "Swim-merie" "Swim-merie" at the pool in the physical phy-sical education building at College of Southern Utah on Tuesday evening, with scouts from five of the six troops in the district participating. This event was in preparation prepara-tion by the late Ray Adams, a member of the scout council coun-cil prior to his death, and the event was held under the leadership of other scout officials offi-cials of the district. Contests were held in seven event s, and winners in each were as follows: FREESTYLE: Randall Bent-ley, Bent-ley, 1st; Eric Michaeli, 2nd; R. Judd, 3rd; Don Winn, 4th. ELEMEM . BACK. Robert Boardman, 1st; Ken Foster, 2nd; Tom Johnson, 3rd; Lee Pace, 4th. BACK CRAWL: Don Winn, 1st; Doug Jensen, 2nd; Randy Bentley, 3rd; Bert Barton, 4th. SIDE STROKE: Eric Michaeli, Mich-aeli, 1st; Russell Mortensen, 2nd; Brent Murie, 3rd; Ken Foster, 4th. FREESTYLE: Stewart Taylor, Tay-lor, 1st; R. Judd, 2nd; Ken Foster, 3rd; Randall Bentley, 4th. Back STROKE: D. Abbott, 1st; Stewart Taylor, 2nd; Robert Ro-bert Boardman, 3rd. BALLOON RACE: Parowan Third, 1st; Enoch, 2nd and Paragonah, 3rd. Final score for all events, were Parowan Third, 1st, with 18 points; Parowan Second and Paragonah, tied for 2nd with 16 points each; Enoch and Parowan First tied for 3 with eight points each. |
