Show Funeral services for J. W. MacKewan held in Summit Funeral services honoring John William MacKewan were held at the Summit Ward Chapel Friday, April 5-The 5-The services were conducted by Bishop Delos Dalton. Prayers were offered by . J. Frank Dalley and Alma C. Lawrence. The speaker' was Randy Crofts, of Kanarraville, remarks were by the Bishop.' The music, furnished by the Ladies Choir members, included in-cluded "I ' Need Thee Every Hour" and Now the Day is Over". They , were accompanied accompan-ied by Marc Alton, who also i furnished the prelude and ; postlude music. Mr. MacKewan Mac-Kewan was buried in the Ce- dar City Cemetery; his grave 1 was dedicated by Jack Far- row.' . j John MecKewan was born in London, England February , zb, 189b. He resided a number num-ber of years in Long Beach, j California with his wife.' Mrs. MacKewan passed away in 1967. Since her death he has jj resided with the Leo Thomp- sons of Summit. Mr. MacKewan is survived X by his neice, Mrs. Thompson, of Summit, and John and Ro- bert Pranin, nephews, of San Pedro, California. . . |
