Show I Plans made for LDS quarterly conference The first Quarterly Conference Confer-ence for the Parowan Stake in 1972, will convene in Parowan Paro-wan this week end, Saturday evening and Sunday morning, March 11 and 12, The stake leadership meeting will be held at 7 p. m. In the Parowan First-Second ward chapel, and the general session of the conference con-ference will be held at 10 a. m. in the Third Ward chapel. The subject for the leadership leader-ship meeting will be "Teacher Development and Meeting House Libraries, with emphasis empha-sis on Setting Goals," says J. Phillip Hanks, stake high councilman, who is in charge of the program.. During the evening a movie and film strip will be shown and then participants in the meeting will have a chance to set goals. The program is to assist the ward and stake leaders in setting goals to follow in leadership lea-dership capacity, and all auxiliary aux-iliary executives and priesthood priest-hood quorum presidencies are urged to attend. The general session on Sunday Sun-day morning at 10 is for all members of the stake and interested in-terested visitors. At this meeting, meet-ing, in the Third Ward chapel, cha-pel, a combined wards choir, directed by J, Phillip Hanks and accompanied by June M. Decker , and Jackie Robinson, have prepared three special numbers for presentation. Mr. Hanks informs us that they will be: "All Creatures of our God and King," "The Heavens Resound", Re-sound", and "Onward Ye Peoples." Peo-ples." Special speakers will also be heard during the session. |
