I'f "nil "'"Ifl T1 Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, March 9 for Ianthu.s Wright, 72, former supcrintendant of the Iron County School District. Services Ser-vices will be held at the Cedar Ninth Ward Chapel at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Spils-bury-Graff Mortuary from noon until time of services. The prominent Utah educator educa-tor died at the Dixie Memorial Hospital in St. George Monday, Mon-day, March 6 of a heart ailment. ail-ment. Mr. Wright was principal of Fillmore High School for one year and the Cedar City High School from 1910-45. H( then assumed the superintendency of the Iron County School District, Dis-trict, a position he held for 20 years. lie then served as a member of the Utah State four years until 19G9 when he retired. A member of the LDS Church he was a high priest at the time of his death. He was iborn Aug. 2, ISO!), in Hinckley, Millard County, a .son of John Moroni and Emma Em-ma Hinton Wright, die married mar-ried Alice Maude Subbins Oct. 8, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife, St. George, a son and two daughters: Grant S. Wright, Resenda, Calif.; Mrs. Dale (Donna Mae) Milne, Lander, Wyo.; and Mrs. Don (Carol) Goddard, Long Deach, Calif. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; four bothers and three sisters: Joseph M., Salt Lake City; Chester, Spr-ingville; Spr-ingville; John W. Washington, D. C; Glade, Indio, Calif; Gen. evieve Christense, Oak City; Mrs. Vernell Baker, Deseret; and Mina Cros'by, Spanish Fork.
