A reception was held in the Kanarraville Ward Cultural Hall following the wedding. The bride wore a white brocade bro-cade satin gown and carried a bouquet of a cascade of pink and white rose buds surrounding sur-rounding two white orchids and tied with a white ribbon. The matron of honor was Mrs. Retta Davis, sister of the bride. Other attendants were Mrs. Carolyn Williams and Mrs. DeLowa Haskell, also sisters sis-ters of the bride; Miss Eva-Lynn Eva-Lynn Stokes, sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Chyree Stokes, a sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Flower girls were Betty Ann and Sandra Kay Haskell. Mrs. Retta Hartley, grandmother grand-mother of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine E. Sevy, grandparents of the bridegroom, bride-groom, were also in the reception re-ception line. All the attendants wore light green brocade dresses with corsages of pink and white carnations.
