Show CSU Dean of Women Attends Chicago Meetings Georgia Beth Smith, dean of women at College of Southern South-ern Utah, attended the 19G8 annual conference of the National Na-tional Association of Women Deans and Counselors in Chicago, Chi-cago, 111., April 3 through 7. Miss Smith was one of some 1200 topflight women educators educa-tors from all parts of the na tion in attendance at the meetings. The convention program was geared to the theme, "Dis- sonance and the Search for j Human Dignity." The search for identity in the black student stu-dent movement, discussion of a joint statement on the rights and freedoms of students stu-dents which has been endorsed endors-ed by the National Student Association and other national nation-al organizations, were among the topics discussed. Others were the new morality among college students, alcohol and drugs, men's concept of women's wo-men's education, academic in-ovations in-ovations such as free universities, univer-sities, residual colleges, and experimental housing.
