Cedar High Redmen Lose Two Games in Road Trip Into Nevada The Cedar High Redmen basketball team lost a pair of games Friday and Saturday in their initial road trip of the season, but Coach Richard Rich-ard Hobbs is nevertheless pleased with the performances. Friday night the Redmen were at Boulder City to meet Moulder High and lost in a high scorer, 75-67. Saturday it was Moapa High and the Red-men Red-men went down by a score of 66 to 50. In both contests the Red-men Red-men were close in the field-goal field-goal department loosing by margins principally in the foul department. Against Boulder the Redmen hit 30 from the field compared to 29 for the victors but fell short 10 points from the foul line and com-1 com-1 mitted 16 compared to 9 per-I per-I sonal fouls. At Moapa the Redmen were 1 outscored from the field by only three fieldgoals but lost by a total of 16 points, giving giv-ing up again 10 points on the foul line. Against Boulder four of the Redmen were in double figures, fig-ures, led by Wayne Esplin with 18 points. In addition both Mike Pratt and Randy Clove had eight points each in the contest for a balanced scoring attack. At Moapa Mike Pratt broke lose to lead all scorers in the battle with 21, including nine fieldgoals and three from the free thrown line. Dale Hatch was also in double figures with 12, an identical number that he scored against Boulder Bould-er in the opening game. Coach Hobbs felt that Boulder Bould-er was the stronger of the two clubs personnel wise, but that Moapa was the better coache-ed coache-ed and disciplined squad. Against Moapa the Redmen appeared tired as the result of the trip.
