Show Stake MIA Laurels' Standards Night Held in Paragonah Tin- Parowan Stake MIA Laurels Standards Nitfht was held Tuesday evening in the Paragonah Ward Church, according ac-cording to Mrs. Carol yarns-worth, yarns-worth, VWMIA president. The event featured a program by members of the Laurels group and their leaders witli Gary Graf of the LDS Institute of Religion at CSU as the featured fea-tured speaker. The program . was as follows: Song, Choose the Right, prayer Jennadean Whitney, Greetings from Ranae Banks, president of the stake Laurels group; song My Testimony, by First Ward; Presentation of Laured Crest, introduction of speaker by Gretta Wood, stake Laurel Leader, talk by Mr. Graf; Song, Love at Home, by Enoch Ward group, and closing prayer by Gail Bent-ley. Bent-ley. Following the program each girl was presented with a small booklet entitled How to Resist Temptation, by Elder Dolbert L. Stapley of the quorum quor-um of Twelve Apostles. The serving of refreshments climaxed cli-maxed the evenings events. I |
