Delmar D. Vail, BLM Cedar City District Manager, requedts that people wishing to cut their own tree check first with the BLM. It is necessary that you obtain a tree tag to comply with the State law requiring tagging of all Christmas trees, and to avoid cutting in an unauthorized area. Mr. Vail states that BLM personnel will be in the free Use area to issue tree tags on December 9 and lb xroiii a.ud a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pickup trucks equipped with snow tires or chains should be used in driving driv-ing to the area which is covered cover-ed with snow.
