Show On-the-job Training Available To College Students College Students! Are you interested in participating in a program that will give you actual on-the-job training in the field in which you are majoring? If you plan to obtain ob-tain a degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Mathemat-ics, Engineering, or Agriculture Agricul-ture Scienes, you may be able to qualify to work as a student stu-dent trainee with the Federal Government. A competitive examination to fill positions of this nature in the five state area of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico Mex-ico and Arizona was opened today by the Interagency of U. S. Civil Service Examiners for Utah. Students who are chosen for these positions will work for a federal agency during the summer months and possibly pos-sibly some part-time work during school. At the completion comple-tion of the training program, participants can be brought into in-to the Federal Service in a career position without further competition. The qualifications for these positions call for passing a written test and having completed com-pleted 1 year of academic study for the GS-3 level and 2 J2 years for the GS-4 level.
