Show MIA Basketball Play Begins This Week For Parowan Stake Play got under way in the Parowan Stake MIA basketball basket-ball program this week with the opening round of play on Wednesday evening. Participating Partici-pating in Leagues are teams representing each of the six wards in the stake, states Richard Dotson, stake athletic director. They are: Paragonah, Enoch, First, Second and Third Wards Ensigns; En-signs; First and Third Ward Explorer teams; Second and Third Ward M-Mcn and Third Ward Seniors. In addition all wards have entered teams in a Boy Scout league, with the games to be played in their own ward halls on a home and home basis, and In stake competition only. For other participating teams, practice games will be played in ward halls and league games in the Parowan High School gym. r lay gut uuut-'i way vvcu- nesday evening with the First and Third Ward Explorers playing at 7; Third and Enoch Ward Ensigns at 8 and First and Second Ward Ensigns at 9 p. m. . Tonight, Thursday, the Second Sec-ond and Third Ward M-Men play at 9. Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 7 the Third and Paragonah Ward Ensigns meet; at 8 the Second Ward Ensigns and Third Ward Explorers meet, and at 9, the Third Ward Seniors and M-Men M-Men play. Dec. 14, Thursday, at 8 p. m. the First and Enoch Ward Ensigns En-signs meet and at 9 the Second Sec-ond Ward M-Men and Third Ward Seniors tangle. The remainder of the schedule sched-ule for MIA play, which runs into February, will be given next week. |
