Miss Shidler has spent two weeks here visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux of Provo arrived here Tuesday and visited here and in St. George until Friday with their children and grandchildren . Michael Williamson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williamson, William-son, is at Cedar Breaks, while La Nell Topham, ton of Mrs. Ernest Topham, is at Grand Can yon. Mrs. Gertrude Barton of Cedar City spent Sunday here with her son, Ted Barton, and family. She also visited with her sister, Mrs. Miriam Anderson. Lyle Topham Is In southern California with his brother, Murray Mur-ray Topham, and wife. He hopes to find employment there. Karen Edwards was the guest of honor at her fourth birthday party Monday when her mother, Mrs. Ralph Edwards, entertained a group of her little friends for the occasion. Mrs. Myrtle Abbott was pleased to have hpr nephew, Stanley Ab bott, and family call on her Friday. Fri-day. The Abbotts were moving from Idaho to make their home in California. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. David Dav-id Abbott of St. George; Mrs. Maurlne Hughes and two children chil-dren of Mesquite, Nev., visited briefly with Mrs. Myrtle Abbott and her aged father, Thomas Robinson. They were on their way home from Salt Lake City where Mr. Abbott had secured an artificial leg. The program in church Sunday Sun-day was given by the Daughters of the Pioneers. Mrs. Hannah Robinson conducted, with Mrs. Lula Bastian and Mrs. Nora Lund as speakers. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Roundy and family of Huntington Park, Calif., spent Monday through Friday here with Mrs. Roundy's brothers, William and Homer Boardman and families. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Art Fretwell and family in Cedar City as well as other relatives in this locality. Charles and Curtis Cur-tis Boardman went back with the Roundys for a week's vacation. vaca-tion. Mrs. Retta Duncan and Miss La Veda Duncan of Meadow made a brief stop In town Thursday evening. Rodney Jones, Leland Partner and Kent Talbot returned from Camp Williams last week where they had been for training with the National Guard.
