Show Livestock Committee To Push Premium Booklet Promotion With the 17th annual Southern South-ern Utah Livestock Show Just two months away, Sept 5, 6, and 7, committees have started work on preparations for the annual an-nual event The building committee reached reach-ed a decision this week on the location of a perrranent home for the show, and expects to let contracts soon enough to have a show barn at least partially completed and ready for the 1957 show. Details may be found elsewhere. The next major activity will be the publication of a premium booklet for the annual show. Committee workers, under the leadership of D. C. Schmutz and Heber M. Sevy, will start a campaign cam-paign Monday, July 20, to sell advertising for the booklet The premium list and rules and regulations reg-ulations are being formulated and will be completed In the very near future. It is expected that the show this year will be held in the new barn to be located on North Main Street, and that this will be the home of the show In future fu-ture years. ' Committees for handling all details of the show were appointed ap-pointed some time ago, and are now prepared to begin preparations prepara-tions for the event Show officials hope that merchants mer-chants and others of the area will continue their fine support so that the show may advance In Its Importance each year. With the erection of a show barn providing permanent quarters the show should advance rapidly rapid-ly and become even more Important Im-portant to the livestock Industry of the area than In the past. |
