Show NEWCASTLE by Norma Christensen The entire town has been in a virtual state of shock since the tragic accident that claimed the life of our neighbor and friend, David Tullis. Our deepest concern con-cern and sympathy go to his widow, Mary, and his five daughters, and his brothers and th"ir families. Some of the many hundreds of visitor's in town this week were the Tullis families, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome . Tullis and family of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Veruo Sandstrom and family from Pro-jvo, Pro-jvo, Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Tullis and family of Enterprise, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tullis from Cedar City, (Mr. and Mrs. Vernon (Colleen) Gilbert and baby son from Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine (Cleo) Applegate from Cedar City. Some of Mary's family in town were Frances Pulsipher, an uncle un-cle from Logandale, Nev., Mrs. Zell Hunt, also of Logandale, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christian of Pioche, Nev., Sirs. Blanco Holt of Gunlock. and Marv's brother. Perry Leavitt of San Francisco, Calif. Some of the other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Sherman E?acham of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Caine Christensen of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reeves and family of Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet from St. George, Mrs. Geneva Gillies, Fred Gillies, and Mrs. Katherine Simpson, all of Las Vegas, Mrs. Naida Gardner Gard-ner of Cedar City, and many more that we haven't mentioned. The Stout Construction company com-pany was closed down Monday in honor of David and there were around 30 men from the company that attended the services. ser-vices. I About the only, happy note in jtown this week was the birth of a baby son to George and Carma Bcacharn. They have one other child, another son. |
