Show Jr. Talent Show Set for Wed.. April 26th. Final plans are being formulated formu-lated for the Eleventh Annual Junior Talent Show to be staged by the Kiwanis Club of Cedar City Wednesday evening, April 26 at 8:15 at the College of Southern Utah auditorium. Dr. Rymal Williams, chairman of the project for the club, announced an-nounced that a host of oustand-Ing oustand-Ing talent appeared at auditor-ing auditor-ing talent appeared at auditions held at the North Elen.ontary School Auditorium Saturday and that additional auditions would be conducted Saturday, April 22. Reason" for the second audition is to allow a number of students, who were out of town, to appear ap-pear and also to give the older participants an opportunity. Previously Pre-viously it was erroniously announced an-nounced that the limit was 16 years of age. Limits are actually up to and Including 18 years of age, Dr. Williams stated. Auditions will be in the North Elementary at 10:30 a.m., he said. Tickets for the Talent Show are now available and each of the Kiwanls club members have them for sale. Adults will be admitted ad-mitted for 75 cents and children, child-ren, under 12, at 35 cents, Dr. Williams stated. Talent will be seperated into various age groups for competition competi-tion and selection of winners will be based on an applause meter and announced by judges. It is expected that numbers on the show will come from a wide area in southern Utah and will also feature a wide-range of entertainment, en-tertainment, Dr. Williams stated. Proceeds from the show will be used by the club to support many of the worthwhile projects I they sponsor each year, it was pointed out by Tom Cardon, club president. |
